2 Children Hospitalized in San Diego DUI Accident on Federal Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 26, 2021) — Two children were injured in a DUI accident on Federal Boulevard near Home Avenue Wednesday night.
According to San Diego Police, the DUI crash happened around 9:50 p.m.
While driving purportedly under the influence, a Ford Mustang driver veered off the road. Subsequently, the 22-year-old crashed through a wooden fence and into the back of a home.
At the scene, officers learned that a 3- and a 6-year-old had suffered minor injuries in the accident. Shortly after, paramedics transported the children and driver to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a building engineer arrived at the scene to help the displaced residents.
