Man Dies in Chula Vista Pedestrian Accident on Oxford Street
CHULA VISTA, CA (February 25, 2021) — A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Oxford Street near 4th Street Wednesday morning.
According to the Chula Vista Police, the crash happened around 10:00 a.m. Unknown unclear circumstances, a driver in a Hyundai SUV struck the man in a wheelchair.
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and transported the victim to UCSD Medical Center in San Diego. However, despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
At this time, the victim’s name and ultimate cause of the accident require further investigation. Although, anyone with information about this pedestrian accident on Oxford Street should contact the Chula Vista Police.
