Semi-Truck Involved in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Oxnard
OXNARD, CA (February 22, 2021) – Crews sent a woman to the hospital after a semi-truck crash on Pacific Coast Highway on February 18.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hueneme Road around 2:00 PM.
Based on a report, the 2006 Peterbilt semi-truck was traveling westbound on Hueneme Road and a 1996 Jeep Cherokee was directly behind it. Due to unknown reasons, the driver of the Jeep did not slow down and collided with the rear of the semi.
As a result, the crash trapped a 30-year-old Camarillo woman in the Jeep. Crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. In addition, the driver of the semi was not hurt in the incident.
