Head-On Accident on Larkin Road Kills 3 People in One Vehicle
OROVILLE, CA (February 23, 2021) – Three people were killed in a head-on accident on Larkin Road in Oroville Monday afternoon.
Around 2:00 p.m. on February 22, Oroville Police and Fire said they received numerous phone calls about a head-on collision between Mineral way and Airport Parkway.
When officers arrived, they found three people, all in the same vehicle, dead at the scene.
A fourth person in the vehicle sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, several other people in the second vehicle were also hospitalized.
A stretch of the roadway was closed for approximately three hours as agencies responded to the crash. Police asked motorists to avoid the area due to the road closure.
The cause of this accident is under investigation.
