Two-Car Accident on Olympic Boulevard in West LA Kills Woman and Injures Teen
WEST LOS ANGELES, CA (February 22, 2021) – A woman died in a two-car accident at Olympic Boulevard and Overland Avenue Wednesday night.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 5:48 p.m., February 17. It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash.
LAFD said the woman was briefly trapped in the wreckage. Emergency crews performed life-saving measures, but she later died at the scene.
The other driver, a teenage boy, suffered moderate injuries.
Authorities are still trying to determine if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident. Further investigation is underway.
