Early Morning Pedestrian Accident on Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Culver City Turns Fatal
CULVER CITY, CA (March 13, 2021) – A man died early Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident on Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Culver City.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:20 a.m. on March 11, near the Robertson Boulevard off-ramp.
First responders found the male pedestrian lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not disclosed.
Officers issued a SigAlert shortly after 4:00 a.m., blocking all lanes at Robertson Boulevard for an unknown duration while they worked on the scene.
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
