Reef Crimson Dies in Hemet Suspected DUI Accident on State Street near Village Loop
HEMET, CA (March 1, 2021) — Reef Crimson died in a suspected DUI accident on State Street near Village Loop Saturday afternoon.
According to the Hemet Police Department, the two-car accident happened around 3:20 p.m. For possible DUI reasons, 58-year-old Crimson allowed his Ford Mustang to cross into oncoming traffic. There, his northbound Ford struck a southbound Ford F-150.
As a result of the crash, Crimson, of Hemet, died shortly after. While detectives investigated the accident, paramedics treated the Ford F-150 driver at the scene for his major injuries.
At this time, detectives believe alcohol or drugs may have caused the crash. However, if witnesses have more insight into this collision, please contact the Hemet police.
