Aristeo Limon Jr. Dead in Dump Truck Crash on Sierra Highway near Davenport Road

 
CASTAIC, CA (June 8, 2021) — Aristeo Limon Jr. died in a dump truck accident on Sierra Highway near Davenport Road Monday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fatal crash occurred around 8:10 a.m. It’s unclear why 52-year-old Limon failed to stop at the T-intersection at Sierra Highway and Davenport Road. As a result, the 2012 Peterbilt dump truck drove through the intersection, collided with a dirt embankment and overturned down the dirt way path.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced the Azusa man dead on arrival. At this time, detectives have not confirmed if DUI or faulty brakes had taken place prior to the crash. Although, if anyone would like to help authorities with this fatal accident, please contact the Los Angeles police.
