LOS ANGELES, CA (July 19, 2021) — Mat George died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Beverly Boulevard in Beverly Grove Saturday morning.
 
According to news outlets, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 2:20 am. For unknown reasons, a BMW driver struck the 26-year-old Arizona native, whose full name is Matthew Thomas George. The driver immediately left the scene and continued eastbound, leaving the co-host of the popular “She Rates Dogs” podcast for dead.
 
At this time, the Los Angeles police department needs the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and hit-and-run driver. Thus, anyone with information should reach out to the department.
