VENTURA, CA (July 19, 2021) — Zachary Gregson was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Emma Wood State Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle crash happened around Thursday afternoon. For unknown reasons, a 19-year-old woman from Santa Paula in a 2004 Chevy Blazer attempted a left-hand turn into the path of 22-year-old Gregson.
Per reports, the woman was initially heading northbound before her turn while Gregson was traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, both the Chevy and Harley-Davidson collided, and the impact sent the 22-year-old into a parked vehicle. Following the crash, paramedics responded and transported the Ventura County firefighter to a hospital for treatment of his major injuries.
