Worker Hospitalized after Pipe Falls on Him on Wilshire Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 20, 2021) — A worker was injured after a pipe falls on him on Wilshire Boulevard near San Vicente Boulevard Tuesday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened around 3:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a large pipe fell onto the construction worker at a site in the 11000 block of Wilshire Boulevard. Soon after, firefighters responded and freed the victim before taking him to a hospital in critical condition. In addition, another person sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Yet, the circumstances in which that occurred seem unclear.
