Man Killed in San Rafael Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Merrydale Road

 
SAN RAFAEL, CA (August 11, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Merrydale Road near San Pedro Road this past weekend.
 
According to police, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 4:00 a.m. Under unclear conditions, a driver struck a male pedestrian just north of San Pedro Road. Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the San Rafael Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team needs witnesses’ help.
