ARBUCKLE, CA (August 15, 2021) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on 5 Freeway near Arbuckle early Friday morning.
The fatal crash happened around 3:05 a.m. on August 13, just south of Hahn Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 30-year-old man from Arbuckle was walking partially in the northbound lane of the freeway when a big rig traveling at an unknown speed struck him.
