One Person Killed in Head-On Accident on Hesperia Road near Mojave Street [Hesperia, CA]

One Person Dead in Hesperia Head-On Crash on Hesperia Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 17, 2021) — One person died in a head-on accident on Hesperia Road near Mojave Street Monday morning.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 2:25 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a silver 2019 Nissan Versa and a 2005 Honda Civic collided in the 10200 block of Hesperia Road.
 
Following the accident, four people became trapped in one of the vehicles, urging San Bernardino County firefighters to respond to the incident. Although firefighters freed them from the vehicle, one of them died at the scene.
 
Not long after, three helicopters landed in the road and airlifted the three surviving patients to various out-of-area trauma centers.
 
At this time, the Hesperia Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team has yet to confirm the ultimate cause of the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please contact the Hesperia Police Department.
