Three Sustained Injuries in Rollover Crash on Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road

 
NEWHALL, CA (August 17, 2021) — Three people suffered injuries in a rollover accident on Lyons Avenue on Wednesday, August 11.
 
According to Fire Department spokesman Marvin Lim, a car overturned near the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Wiley Canyon Road.
 
Lim said that firefighters first arrived at the area at 8:34 p.m. Wednesday, approximately five minutes after receiving a call about the incident.
 
Firefighters used the “Jaws of Life,” to extricate an occupant out of the white Mitsubishi SUV that overturned on its side and hit a tree.
 
First responders gave treatments to at least three patients for injuries. Medics rushed one of the injured to the hospital.
 
The incident involved at least two vehicles and destroyed a nearby streetlight.
