Isaiah Garrett Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 138 [Llano, CA]

Driver Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle in Llano, Lloyd Marcus and Clarissa Leimis Suffers Major Injuries

 
LLANO, CA (September 16, 2021) – Isaiah Garrett died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 138 in Llano late Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:12 p.m. on September 10, just west of Ford Tejon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Garrett was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima eastbound on the highway when he veered into the opposing traffic lane for unknown reasons. He then collided with a westbound 2021 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
 
As a result, Garrett died at the scene. He was a 19-year-old Palmdale resident, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
There were two occupants in the Dodge pickup, both sustained major injuries. The driver, 43-year-old Lloyd Marcus of Banning, was transported to Northridge Hospital for treatment. The passenger, 41-year-old Clarissa E. Leimis of Banning, was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
CHP did not suspect alcohol and drugs as contributing factors. They asked anyone with further information to them at 661-948-8541.
