Wrong-Way Crash in Lancaster Kills Both Driver and Passenger
LANCASTER, CA (October 28, 2021) – Jocelyn Aramburo and Daniel Boyas died in a wrong-way accident in Lancaster Monday evening last week.
The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on October 18, on 240th Street East near Avenue M. CHP officials said Boyas, 33, was driving a 2009 Honda Civic the wrong way with his passenger Aramburo, 26.
The Honda then collided head-on with Ford F-350 flatbed truck, driven by 40-year-old Llinas Gonzalo of Miramar, Florida.
Responding paramedics pronounced both Aramburo and Boyas dead at the scene.
Gonzalo sustained minor injuries from the crash and was rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
