Man Killed in Head-On Collision on Panama Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 11, 2021) — One man died in a head-on accident on Panama Lane near Wible Road early Saturday.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 4:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man allowed his vehicle to drift into the opposing lane. Subsequently, his car collided with a woman’s vehicle in a head-on fashion.
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and confirmed the man’s death at 4:36 a.m. Meanwhile, investigators interviewed the female driver, who they say was not impaired at the time of the crash.
