Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Santa Monica Boulevard

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 11, 2021) — A woman suffered serious injuries in Saturday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Santa Monica Boulevard near El Centro Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened around 6:05 a.m. For unknown reasons, a westbound 2017 to 2019 white Mercedes C-Class sedan driver struck a woman standing outside a car. Subsequently, the driver left the scene of the crash.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
However, detectives still need the public’s help in locating the driver of the Mercedes. Therefore, anyone with information on the hit-and-run driver can receive an award of up to $25,000.
