Passenger Dies after Vehicle Crashes on Hollywood Freeway
HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 28, 2021) – A man died in a car accident on Hollywood (101) Freeway early Thursday morning.
The fatal accident happened around 4:25 a.m. on October 28, at Vine Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had crashed through a fence and some trees and hit a residential building.
As a result, the male passenger suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was believed to have been in his 40s, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office reported. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.
Meanwhile, paramedics took the driver to a hospital in an unknown condition.
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
