25-Year-Old Driver Dies after Colliding with Another Car on Highway 101 in Santa Clara County
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA (October 19, 2021) – A 25-year-old San Jose man died in a two-car accident on Highway 101 near Morgan Hill early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. on October 17, just north of Bailey Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2015 Nissan sedan southbound on the highway when it collided with a 2014 Honda.
The Nissan then overturned from the impact, ejecting the man.
Responding paramedics attempted saving the man, but he died at the scene.
The Honda’s driver was not injured.
Both drivers are sole occupants of their car.
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
