Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Accident on Highway 101 in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 on September 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cahuenga Boulevard at approximately 2:12 AM.
Based on an initial report, the victim was walking on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim.
As a result, the pedestrian died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity pending kin notification. In addition, the collision prompted the closure of the highway for several hours.
The CHP said no further information was available. Also, this fatal pedestrian accident on Highway 101 is still under investigation.
