Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 237 in Santa Clara Leaves One Dead
SANTA CLARA, CA (October 19, 2021) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 237 in Santa Clara late Sunday evening.
The accident happened around 10:40 p.m. on October 17, at Great America Parkway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was standing on the right shoulder of the highway when a Honda Accord veered off the roadway and collided with a Honda Fit, which then struck the man.
After the crash, the Accord stopped in highway lanes when another car slammed into it. The driver of the Accord was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
