Late Evening Crash on 710 Freeway in Lynwood Ends in Fatality
LYNWOOD, CA (October 7, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 710 Freeway in Lynwood late Tuesday evening.
The accident happened around 11:24 p.m. on October 5, just south of 105 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee and a maroon Ford F-150 pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
When officers arrived, they located the vehicles blocking the freeway lanes. Occupants in both vehicles were standing in middle lanes.
Paramedics provided life-saving aid, but at least one person died at the scene.
At this time, CHP officials are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
