Woman Killed in Kerman Two-Car Crash on Jensen Avenue
KERMAN, CA (October 11, 2021) — A woman died in a two-car accident on Jensen Avenue near Sycamore Avenue Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a woman in a westbound Toyota had made a sudden turn. Subsequently, the Toyota collided with the front of a Jeep heading eastbound on the same road.
Tragically, the woman inside a Toyota, the sole occupant of the car, died in the crash. Soon after, paramedics responded and transported four people inside the Jeep to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
At this time, officers have ruled out DUI as an explanation for the accident. However, any witnesses with insight into this collision should call the CHP.
