Woman Suffers Broken Leg after Motorcycle Accident on University Avenue in North Park
NORTH PARK, CA (October 4, 2021) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on University Avenue in North Park late Wednesday evening.
The accident happened just before 11:00 p.m. on September 29. According to the San Diego Police Department, the 37-year-old woman was riding her motorcycle near the 2600 block of University Avenue. A 19-year-old man driving a Mercedes-Benz turned onto the eastbound side of the street and struck the woman.
As a result, the woman sustained a broken leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers did not provide further details about the driver.
The factors involved in the crash remain under investigation.
