Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle on MacArthur Boulevard in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (March 23, 2024) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident at MacArthur Boulevard and Birch Street in Santa Ana on Friday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:10 a.m. on March 22. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the male was riding his motorcycle west on MacArthur when he collided with a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. An investigation is underway.
