Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle on North Bristol Street [Santa Ana, CA]

Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian on North Bristol Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (April 22, 2024) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on North Bristol Street in Santa Ana Saturday evening on April 20.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking westbound across the northbound lanes of Bristol Street when he was struck by the northbound vehicle shortly after 10:00 p.m.
 
The Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene and found the man in the roadway next to a vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but police said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor.
