Man Dies in Hayward Pedestrian Crash at Tennyson Road

 
HAYWARD, CA (April 23, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident at Tennyson Road and Lustig Court.
 
According to the Hayward Police Department, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 10:23 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a 29-year-old woman struck a 56-year-old male pedestrian at the intersection. Subsequently, the female driver stopped, pulled over and waited for the authorities to arrive.
 
Minutes later, emergency medical responders administered aid to the gravely injured man. However, he passed away from his severe injuries. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of next of kin.
