KINGSBURG, CA (July 31, 2024) — Several lanes closed after 2 box trucks crashed on Highway 99 near Kamm Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, two box trucks crashed on Highway 99 near Bethel Avenue. Authorities did not say what led to the accident. However, they will investigate further.

Large trucks have a blind spot on both sides. Remember, to make room for these larger vehicles. Keep your distance, anticipate their wide turns and be cautious when navigating near them. Because they tow a longer trailer, they will require more room for maneuvering.
