Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Pickup Truck on Alamo Drive in Vacaville
VACAVILLE, CA (July 24, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident at Alamo Drive and Peabody Road in Vacaville on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. on July 24. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist appears to have run a red light at Alamo Drive and crashed into a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was legally turning left on a green signal.
The impact caused the motorcyclist fatal injuries and they died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
No other information available at this time. Vacaville police shut down the intersection while they investigated the crash.
