Carlos Soliz Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Ranchero Road [Hesperia, CA]

Two-Vehicle Crash in Hesperia Kills 30-Year-Old Passenger and Injures Both Drivers

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 30, 2024) – Carlos Guillen Soliz died in a two-vehicle accident in Hesperia early Monday morning on August 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:30 a.m. at Ranchero Road and Mariposa Road. According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a Nissan was traveling south along Mariposa Road and entered the intersection through a green light.
 
A Ford heading east on Ranchero Road drove through a red light and struck the passenger side of the Nissan.
 
Soliz was a passenger in the Nissan. He died at the scene. He was a 30-year-old Hesperia resident.
 
Meanwhile, the drivers of both vehicles suffered unspecified injuries.
 
Intoxicated driving was not suspected in the crash, which is still under investigation.
