2 Hospitalized in DUI 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 4 in San Joaquin County
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (September 10, 2024) — Two people were injured in a DUI 2-car accident on Highway 4 near Whiskey Slough Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the head-on crash happened around 6:15 a.m. Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, a 1978 Ford Mustang driven by a 43-year-old Thornton man collided with a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by a 20-year-old Stockton man.
Subsequently, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene. Due to their conditions, paramedics took both patients to a hospital with major non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, CHP officers investigated the cause and identified DUI as a factor on the Mustang driver’s part.
There was no other information on this crash.
