65-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (September 25, 2024) – Anna Cunerty was killed in a pedestrian accident in Rancho Cucamonga Wednesday evening on September 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:20 p.m. on Foothill Boulevard, just east of Orchard Place. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Cunerty was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
Paramedics immediately responded and transported her to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 8:56 p.m.
 
Cunerty was a 65-year-old Rancho Cucamonga resident.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
