Two Injured in Car Accident on 15 Freeway at Roy Rogers Drive [Victorville, CA]

Car Crashes into Pole on 15 Freeway in Victorville Injuring Two People

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 25, 2024) – Two people were injured in a car accident on 15 Freeway in Victorville early Sunday morning on September 22.
 
The accident happened around 1:10 a.m. at the Roy Rogers Drive off-ramp. According to the Victorville Fire Department, a vehicle was traveling northbound on the freeway when it crashed into a traffic pole.
 
Responding firefighters found one person trapped in the wreckage and the vehicle that was wrapped around the traffic pole.
 
After extricating the trapped person, a ground ambulance took one person to St. Mary Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
Another person was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center with critical injuries.
 
CHP officials said the crash was reported to be a hit-and-run but no other information was available.
 
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
