Driver Killed in Possible DUI Crash on Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (September 4, 2024) — A man died in a suspected DUI 2-car accident on Crenshaw Boulevard near 135th Street.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:00 a.m. Saturday. For possible DUI reasons, a 24-year-old woman slammed into a car reversing out of a driveway.
Subsequently, paramedics responded and pronounced the driver of the car hit, described as a man in his 50s, deceased at the scene. Reports did not truly confirm if the female driver who was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition was under the influence. However, authorities are looking into impairment as a possible explanation.
