LODI, CA (September 16, 2024) — A student was injured in a pedestrian accident on Elm Street near Mills Avenue.
 
According to Lodi Police officers, the pedestrian accident happened Thursday morning. For an unknown reason, a driver struck the Millswood Middle School student who had just exited a vehicle and began crossing the street.
 
Subsequently, paramedics responded and transported the student to San Joaquin General Hospital for evaluation.
 
Reports offered no information on the driver or possible factors that could explain the reason for the accident.
