Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Accident on Antelope Road near Sunrise Boulevard [Citrus Heights, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle on Antelope Road in Citrus Heights

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (September 12, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Antelope Road in Citrus Heights Wednesday afternoon on September 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:50 p.m. near Sunrise Boulevard. According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
It was unknown if speed played a factor. However, alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
