4 Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Goleta

 
GOLETA, CA (October 9, 2024) — Four people were injured in a 2-car accident on Highway 101 near Winchester Canyon Road.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the two-car crash happened around 8:00 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, two vehicles collided, sending a pickup truck involved in the crack onto its roof off the road. The sedan ended up in the center median.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and transported two adults and two children from the sedan to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The sole occupant of the pickup declined medical treatment. Authorities did not confirm the leading cause of this accident. However, they are looking further into the possible factors.
