Child Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries after Car Hits Bicycle on Seventh Avenue in Richmond District
RICHMOND, CA (October 9, 2024) – A child was seriously injured in a bicycle accident at Seventh Avenue and Balboa Street in the Richmond district of San Francisco on Monday night.
The crash happened just before 6:00 pm. on October 7. According to the San Francisco Police Department, an adult was riding the bicycle with a child on board. For unknown reasons, their bicycle was struck by a car.
The impact caused the child life-threatening injuries.
Responding paramedic rushed the child to a hospital for treatment.
The condition of the adult rider was not immediately known.
