John Kelsey Severely Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Greenstone Road near Highway 50

 
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (October 11, 2024) — John Kelsey suffered severe injuries in a motorcycle accident on Greenstone Road near Highway 50.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury crash happened on October 7 around 6:50 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, 46-year-old Kelsey collided with a Toyota Corolla on Greenstone Road. Subsequently, First Responders with the El Dorado County Fire Protection District arrived shortly after to attend to his severe injuries. He sustained a compound fracture of an arm, an arterial bleed and pelvic injuries. Due to his condition, paramedics took him to Buckeye’s School and airlifted him to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
 
Neither of the occupants in the Toyota Corolla reported any injuries in the crash.
 
At this time, authorities have not said what led to the accident. However, they are looking further into this crash.
