2 Injured in Single-Car Crash on Cloverdale Avenue in Baldwin Hills
BALDWIN HILLS, CA (December 31, 2024) — Two men were injured in a solo-car accident on Cloverdale Avenue near Sanchez Drive.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the single-car crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on December 28. For an unknown reason, a driver of a black Fiat 500 lost control and crashed into a large commercial dumpster. Subsequently, the vehicle struck a light pole and a fence next to a home.
Los Angeles County Firefighter paramedics arrived and extricated one patient from the vehicle before taking the individual to a hospital. A second man was also injured in the accident.
News reports did not confirm the leading cause of the crash, but authorities believe speed might have precipitated the crash.
