Pedestrian Struck Dead by Vehicle on Marconi Avenue in North Sacramento
NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA (December 31, 2024) — A pedestrian hit by a car on Marconi Avenue near Watt Avenue died Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened Sunday. For an unknown reason, a westbound driver struck a person who crossed in front of the vehicle. The impact caused severe injuries to the pedestrian who later passed away at the scene.
Moments later, police officers arrived and investigated the incident, ruling out drugs and alcohol.
