Single-Engine Plane Crashes on Artesia Avenue in Fullerton Injuring Two People Aboard

 
FULLERTON, CA (November 26, 2024) – Two people were injured in a plane crash on Artesia Avenue in Fullerton Monday afternoon on November 25.
 
According to the Fullerton Police Department, the pilot of a single-engine aircraft was unable to make it back to Fullerton Airport, and it instead came down in the commercial area nearby in the 2400 block of Artesia Avenue, just east of the Fullerton Airport around 1:45 p.m.
 
Two people in the aircraft, both men, suffered moderate injuries. They pulled from the cabin by firefighters and both were taken to UCI Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
It was unclear what caused the plane to make the emergency landing. The Federal Aviation Administration is handling the investigation.
