SANTA PAULA, CA (November 27, 2024) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 126 in Santa Paula Tuesday morning on November 26.
The fatal accident happened around 11:15 a.m. near Peck Road. According to the Ventura County Fire Department, a blue 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup truck was entering the westbound highway from the Peck Avenue onramp in the rain when the driver spun out across the westbound lanes.
The Dakota the went directly into the path of a black 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 SUV.
