1 Person Injured in Hit-and-Run 2-Vehicle Collision on 215 Freeway in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 3, 2024) — A driver suffered an injury in a hit-and-run 2-car accident on the 215 Freeway near Columbia Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a sedan driver exiting the 215 Freeway off-ramp at Columbia Avenue collided with another vehicle. Subsequently, the sedan crashed into a guardrail and knocked down several signs.
At some point, the other driver fled from the scene.
Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the sedan driver to Riverside Community Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
