Driver and Passenger Die after Colliding with Another Vehicle in Lake Los Angeles Area
LAKE LOS ANGELES, CA (January 28, 2025) – Alfonso Villegas and Angel Rivera were killed in a two-vehicle accident in the Lake Los Angeles area Saturday evening on January 25.
The fatal accident happened around 7:10 p.m. on 170th Street East at Rawhide Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided at the intersection.
As a result, the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles both died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the driver as 34-year-old Alfonso Villegas and the passenger as 21-year-old Angel Rivera.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene on foot, the CHP said.
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
