Semi Truck and Two Other Vehicles Collide on 24th Street in Bakersfield Injuring 2 People
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 30, 2025) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident at 24th Street and Oak Street in Bakersfield on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 1:25 p.m. on January 29. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a semi truck and two other vehicles collided at the intersection.
Emergency crews responded and found one person pinned inside the vehicle.
After extrication, two people were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
A gray vehicle sustained damage to its driver’s side, and the semi-truck had visible damage to its front left fender.
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
