Brandon Alarcon, Victor Lujan, Anzhel Villegas-Lemus Die in 2-Vehicle Crash on Shore Road near Lake Road

 
GILROY, CA (January 17, 2025) — Brandon Alarcon, Victor Lujan and Anzhel Villegas-Lemus died in a 2-car accident on Shore Road near Lake Road Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal victims were described as three high school students from Hollister High School.
 
For an unknown reason, a vehicle carrying the three victims veered out of control while heading westbound on Shore Road. Subsequently, the car entered the opposing lane and crashed into an eastbound vehicle.
 
Tragically, the driver and two rear passengers in the out-of-control car died. Reports identified them as 18-year-old Alarcon, 17-year-old Lujan and 17-year-old Villegas-Lemus. The right front passenger of the westbound car and the sole occupant of the eastbound vehicle suffered serious injuries.
 
Now the community is mourning this triple loss as mental health clinicians are available on site for any grieving students.
 
The CHP did not indicate the leading cause of the accident, but an investigation should confirm the details.
