Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Two Hit-and-Run Drivers on Victory Boulevard in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 26, 2025) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Victory Boulevard and Troost Avenue in North Hollywood on Friday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:35 p.m. on January 24. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the female pedestrian was crossing the street when an unknown sedan hit her while traveling westbound on Victory.
 
The impact of the initial crash sent the woman to her hands and knees in the middle of the roadway.
 
While in that position, a 2003 Toyota 4Runner also struck her.
 
Both drivers then fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities only identified her as a 26-year-old Hispanic woman.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspects remain at large.
